Robert A. Strzinek, Ph.D., D.O.

Dr. Strzinek has been involved in medicine in one form or another since the mid-60’s. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology in 1964 from Abilene Christian University and then earned his Masters Degree and a Ph.D. in Microbiology from University of North Texas in 1970.
Following his tenure in post-doctoral research as a National Research Council Post-Doctoral Fellowship recipient at NASA Manned Space Craft Center in Houston, Dr. Strzinek served as Director of Research and Development at Helena Laboratories while teaching biochemistry at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. Before long, Dr. Strzinek began his medical training at the University of North Texas – Health Science Center of Fort Worth. Dr. Strzinek completed his internship at the DFW Medical Center in 1979.
Today, Dr. Strzinek is board certified in Family Medicine and has operated Texas FamiliCare Medical Center in the mid-cities area since 1979. The doctor is a Christian and cares deeply about the welfare of his patients. His hobbies include golf and spending time with family and friends.
Wade has worked in the pharmaceutical industry since 2000 beginning in pharmaceutical sales and marketing. In early 2009, Wade joined his father, Dr. Robert Strzinek, in creating Protenium Clinical Research. Since that time, Wade has helped grow Protenium Clinical Research from a single private practice research site to multi-investigator clinical research company with locations in Hurst, Fort Worth and Dallas, Texas.
In 2012, Wade launched Healthagy as a new and innovative approach to increasing awareness and participation in clinical research.
Wade enjoys working with a team of research professionals and building companies that serves the medical community and its patients. When not working, Wade also enjoys relaxing with his wife and 2 boys, cycling and yelling at the Dallas Cowboys.
Business Operations Manager
In 2009, Lynette joined Protenium where she has used her operations experience in non-profit and small business start-ups to impact areas such as recruitment to study acquisition. Her strong relationship and database management skills have brought Protenium’s patient recruitment efforts to a whole new level of excellence. Lynette also brings her passion for streamlining efficiencies to her role for the daily business operations of Protenium. Away from the office, Lynette and her husband (of over 27 years!) enjoy spending time with their many friends and family.
Jessica Terry, MA, CCRP
Certified Study Coordinator
Jessica has been working with Dr. Strzinek almost 5 years; she started off working with Dr. Strzinek at Texas Familicare for her Medical Assistant externship, and then became a full time MA in May of 2009. Jessica moved over to Protenium in September 2010 as a lab technician. With her growing curiosity for research and strong will to learn, Jessica became a full time clinical research coordinator the spring of 2011. She recently fulfilled the requirements for the SOCRA Certified Clinical Research Professional exam, and received her certification in May. Jessica and her husband, Chris, have been together almost 8 years, and have a 4 year old daughter, Hailey. They enjoy spending time together with friends and family.
Christina Eizensmits, MA, CCRP
Christina is Dr. Strzinek’s faithful long-time research coordinator. Hired after graduating from Arlington Medical Institute, she has been an integral part of our office since 2003. As dedicated Research Coordinator, Christina was granted the designation of Certified Clinical Research Professional through the Society of Clinical Research Associates. Christina and her husband Mike have 2 children, Nick and Lexi who bring them much joy. Christina’s hobbies include working out and spending time with her family.
Cindy Castro, MA
Cindy is the newest addition to Dr. Strzinek’s research team. Hired as a Research Assistant, Cindy has worked side by side with the research coordinators assisting in all aspects of the trail. Now as a Research Coordinator herself, she has shown true dedication to research along with great skills which have made her a very valuable asset to our team. Cindy was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and moved to Texas in 2007. She graduated from ATI in 2012 as a medical assistant. Her weekends consist of spending time with her husband Willy and their 2 year old son William.
